Hello! I’m Esmee.

After growing up in the Bay Area and graduating from USC, I worked in public relations with a focus on lifestyle brands. My team worked with our clients to boost awareness through event activations, social media marketing and traditional print media outlets.

Since then, I have been working in production on commercials for social media and television, working with large-scale and boutique advertising agencies and global brands. I have worked freelance for numerous production companies in Los Angeles including Morton Jankel Zander, Station Films, Smuggler, Furlined, Invisible Dynamics, Artists Equity and more.

My passion for compelling narratives was fostered in the screenwriting program at USC and has been a through line in all professional experiences. In my free time, I have maintained a writing practice and regular writers’ meeting. My script OVER THE COUNTER placed in the top twenty percent at the 2024 Austin Film Festival.

When I’m not at work, you can find me walking on the beach, competitively updating my Goodreads and making use of my Cinemark movie rewards club membership.
